Hi, I am Michèle. I have been practicing as a physiotherapist for over 20 years, immersing myself in the study of the human body. Pursuing this path has been my lifelong aspiration, shaping my career decisions since my early years. I am deeply committed to staying abreast of the latest research developments, which continually fuel my passion for this field.
My expertise lies in manual bodywork; it is not only my specialty but also my true passion. However, my ultimate objective is to empower individuals to heal themselves through the transformative power of exercise and movement. I view physiotherapy as a multidimensional discipline, wherein the profound connection between the mind, body, and soul is inherent to the healing process for all.
A brief synopsis of my professional life thus far:
Kinesiology degree while on a tennis scholarship at Vanguard University in Southern California
Physiotherapy degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, my heritage and country of birth
Worked in women’s health at the Rotunda Hospital and developed a Pilates program for chronic pain while in Dublin.
Seven years spent on Maui, in the ocean kiting and surfing while running my own private physiotherapy practice.
Physiotherapy practice at Form Body Lab in Yaletown, working in collaboration with premier Pilates instructors to provide clients with movement re-education strategies to optimize pain-free function and prevention of future injury.
Moved to Britannia Beach and 6 years later I am opening a beautiful home studio surrounded by healing ocean and forest views. Dream!
I hold the following physiotherapy licenses:
